Has anyone else noticed how many of the more recent nike products, including the maestri, seem to have laces that veer towards the inside of the foot, as opposed the the outside like on the laser I's, adipure II's, predators and the puma v series? The other line I noticed this on was the nike zoom indoor shoes. If you look at pictures of this maestri and the zoom indoors the laces look exactly alike.
I havent used either of these but i cant imagine having laces where you make most contact with the ball would help much, and I think it make the shoes horribly ugly, although the 2 pictures of the maestri looked pretty decent other than the laces.
I'd like to hear if other people have noticed this pattern with the laces and what they think of it....
