Nistelrooy is legendary for the Netherlands and it is sad to see him retire, but I think that it is good for him to leave and let the younger strikers shine. Babel and Huntelaar are two VERY talented strikers and I think the Orange Crush will be just as strong, as long as they fix their freaking defense...

no doubt van nistelrooy is probably the most lethal striker, but oranje needs to focus on their central defense, and defending set pieces

When have the dutch ever been hurting for good strikers?
van basten, bergkamp, nistelrooy, kluivert,
Dutch Strikers are in pretty good supply especially with the babel huntelaar van persie kuyt options.
de jong will be about 21 when the cup comes along and guys like big 6'3" ryan donk could develop by then. I just wish van der sar wasn't 39 when the next cup comes around. who do you think the keeper will be. I think I am biased to stekelenberg for size.

Nobody can score like Van Nistelrooy. Not Van Persie, not Babel, certainly not Huntelaar...the best goalscorer left is Kuyt who picks up a lot of "trash" goals, much like Van Nistelrooy.
