Increasing speed can be done many ways. First of all running each day would benefit you not only for speed but so you can last those 90 minutes. Next you can do regular workouts including leg lifts(increasing core strength) and workouts for your quads. Stretching can also surprisingly increase speed. Stretching properly before a game for someone who isn't usually very flexible increases speed. Finally running properly. Your run shouldn't waste energy your body should be reasonably still except for your arms which should be at a 110 degree angle fists unclenched. Motions like bobbing and turning head wastes energy so you cant run as long.
