Today we got to spend the day downtown with Bo Kwon, the owner of Koi Fusion. Koi has been around for a few years now, establishing themselves as one of the first food trucks in Portland. With their delectable mashup of Korean meats and tacos, Oregonians follow them all over the city to get their hands on this grub.

A partnership between Nike Sportswear and Koi Fusion is a match made in heaven. Bo and his staff are sneakerheads, always rocking boxfresh kicks and NSW tees. They are also obsessed with music, with hip hop blasting from the truck on a daily basis. Nike Sportswear not only supports local businesses, but also the local Portland music scene, so they are throwing two free days of shows as part of Musicfest Northwest, with bands including The Black Lips, Surfer Blood and Ra Ra Riot.

So what is a Destroyer Burrito?? Simply, they are Nike Sportswear Destroyer Jackets packed in foil, like a giant burrito as big as your head. In order to receive one, you definitely had to seek out the information by being a Twitter follower of either Koi or Nike Sportswear. The message gave out special instructions:

1. Go to the Koi Fusion truck down
2. Check in via Facebook Places
3. Order the secret menu item, the Destroyer Burrito
4. Receive your Destroyer Burrito, along with a free burrito of your choice!

We gave away quite a few Destroyer Burritos throughout the busy lunchtime hours. You are welcome! Did I mention the music events that are happening at the Nike Sportswear Space at the Wonder Ballroom on Thursday and Friday? Yeah, there will be plenty of other activities and giveaways you can be a part of.
