Dennis Enarson's 2011 has been simply amazing. From huge contest wins to putting out the most respected video part of the year, Dennis raised the bar every time he dropped in.

Throughout all of his success, Dennis' goal has remained the same as the day he started riding: having fun on a bike with his friends.

We want to congratulate Dennis on his incredible year. Congrats, Dennis!

Dennis Enarson is having a year that most action sports athletes can only dream about. He's been a podium-regular all summer long, from this weekend's Dew Tour Dirt win, the winning team captain at The Pool, two Silver medals at the X Games - the list goes on and on! But on top of all of of his contest results, his part in Demolition's "Last Chance" video has been heralded as one of the craziest BMX parts of all time. Dennis has become one of the most incredible and well-rounded riders BMX has ever seen, and we send him a huge congratulations for a summer we will never forget!

Over the past 8 weeks we've seen over 1,800 crews in 12 countries who submitted videos for the world to see. Many thanks to all the crews who took the time to share their creative vision with us. Everyone obviously put blood, sweat and tears into their video, so without further delay watch the video above and let's see who made it into round 2.

Medal Mania at X Games 17

The Nike 6.0 BMX duo of Garrett Reynolds and Dennis Enarson put in some serious work at X Games 17. Garrett continued to dominate the BMX Street event, managing to add a fourth consecutive Summer X gold medal to his collection.

Dennis was right behind Garrett in Street, and pulled some of the biggest moves of the weekend on his way to second in Street. Dennis also worked his creative magic in Park, and scored his second silver medal of the Games.

"I'm out here riding with all my boys, and it's so fun - that's all that matters," said Dennis, summing up the overall feeling from X.

Huge congrats go out to both guys for an incredible week, and best of luck as they head into the Nike 6.0 BMX Pro at the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, CA.

The Nike US Open of Surfing has a storied reputation for going big. This year will only add to that legacy with more than 500,000 people expected to attend the week-long surf, skate, BMX, music, fashion and art extravaganza.

The 2011 Nike US Open of Surfing will run from July 30 to August 7. All events are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC or can be viewed live daily at www.usopenofsurfing.com.

Anchored by the world's largest professional surfing competition, the $460,000 US Open is a pivotal point on the ASP World Tour for both the men and women. The men's side will feature a North America ASP Men's Prime event with valuable points on the line right before the dramatic ASP Top 32 cut-off. For the women, the US Open of Surfing will showcase the final event of the 2011 ASP World Title Tour in Surf City this summer. "I'm really excited to be returning to Huntington Beach to try to defend my US Open title," says Hawaii's Carissa Moore. "It's so fun to be competing in front of so many people!" In addition to the high-stakes Mens and Womens divisions, the US Open will feature a grade four men's and women's Pro Junior as well as the Pacifico Nose Riding Invitational - always a crowd favorite.

The action doesn't stop at the shoreline. On the beach, the event will once again host eye-popping tricks from the most talented and diverse crew of riders from across the globe as they skate in a state-of-the-art skate bowl at Converse Coastal Carnage. And, a stellar crew of BMX riders will push the realm of possibility at the Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro. The runway will be busy on Thursday, August 4 as five of the nation's top high schools will compete for $25,000 in the Hurley Walk the Walk National Championship - the ultimate youth fashion competition. And the US Open Music Stage will host a star-studded lineup of bands that will surely rival last year's Weezer performance in front of 50,000-plus screaming fans. Not to mention the summer Nike Chosen Crew Video Contest will announce the winning crew on Sunday, 8.7.

Couple this with one-of-a-kind retail and brand experiences, more than 100 interactive exhibits, autograph signings, DJs and giveaways, and you have another summer to remember at the Nike US Open of Surfing. Be ready to dive into the madness starting July 30.

Nike CHOSEN Crew Contest Invite

Check out the announcement from Paul Rodriguez, Julian Wilson and Danny Kass about the opportunity of a lifetime: you and your crew’s chance to live like Nike pros.

We’re looking for the crews that capture the most style, creativity and originality with their videos. Show us footage that’s unexpected and fresh (not necessarily the best trick-to-trick video part). Push your crew’s collective creativity and show us original, insightful stuff, and don’t forget to pack your videos full of your own personality and style.

We’ve got your soundtrack covered. We worked with Terrorbird to curate the strongest 25 tracks we could find across indie, electro, hip-hop and metal genres. Use em, abuse em, mash em up. They are all yours.

Hurry up! The contest submission period is 6.2 – 7.29. The top crew from each participating country with the most social interaction and buzz on Facebook that has the most style, creativity and originality will be chosen by Nike to advance to Round 2.

At the US Open of Surfing on 7.30, your peers from around the world will cast their vote and narrow the nine crews to three chosen finalists.

On 8.7, directly before the Men’s Surf Finals, our Nike athletes will announce the crew they decide is Chosen to live like a Nike pros.

Couple helpful reminders if you’re shooting/editing a video for the Chosen crew video contest so you comply with the required legal terms and conditions of running a contest:
• Your video contains only images of you and your crew that has signed up for The Chosen, nobody else.
• Your video is original and authentic and does not contain any images or video from the web, TV or other people’s work.
• Your video is appropriate, and you wouldn’t be afraid to show it to your Mom.
• Your crew (that has signed up) own and control all rights to the video and its contents.
• You only used the music provided.
