Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships

47 years ago this week the East Coast crowned its first East Coast Surf Champion, and later this week a 48th will be crowned in Virginia Beach. The Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships (ECSC) is the oldest surfing contest in America and this weekend will see 150,000 frothing surfers, skaters, BMX'ers and bikini-clad girls walking around and enjoying the contest, concerts and free swag. Not only that, but thanks to Hurricane Danielle we should see plenty of waves to boot.

Of course the crew at Nike 6.0 wouldn't let this pass without showing up! We'll be down on the beach showing unreleased products, creating one-of-a-kind tee shirts and passing out free stuff. When all that's over and done with and the sun starts to go down, we will present on the main stage: BLORR!

This is a free event - open to the public - with plenty to do and see. Oh, and did we mention that BLORR will be playing!

See you on the sand.
