Winning meet Carissa... Carissa meet winning. I think you gunna like each other.Yup, 6.0 young gun, Carissa Moore, has done it again! That’s right... WIN.
Clenching another victory on Hawaiian turf and hushing the competition, Carissa threw down a phenomenal first place performance at the Billabong Junior Pro at Sunset Beach.
With glassy surf peeling off of Sunset Point, perfect Hawaiian barrels rolling in, and a collection of the world’s hottest young surfers, the stage was set for a killer contest.
Enter Hawaii’s own Ms. Moore.
In a showcase of raw talent and stellar wave selection, Carissa took ‘em to school as she meticulously worked her way through the contest. In an incredible display of surfing dominance, Carissa won each heat with an 8+ point score. Not only was Carissa the only surfer to score an 8 or higher, but she did on every single wave.
Big ups on the win Carissa. Yo, add another W to the list!
