Nike Chosen Series - 1st Stop UK Hemel Hempstead
21 December 2011
The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead, UK set the stage for the first tour stop of the Nike Chosen Series and kicked off the European tour with an unprecedented level of indoor riding.
36 riders signed up to hit one of the biggest UK indoor kickers ever in a bid to grab the judge's attention and book a spot in the 10 man final.
Becky Menday managed a huge FS180 over the 13m kicker on her way to the 'Best Girl' title.
Angus Leith grabbed ‘Most Creative’ with an inspired show of Tranny Finding.
Local rider Sam Cullum deservedly took 'Best Style' on the night with a variety of tweaked 3s & 5s.
With time running out in the final UK rider Andy Nudds eventually stomped the UK's first indoor 1080 having landed 3s, 5s, 7s and 9s, claiming 'Most Valuable Player' and with it his ticket to Nike Chosen Sessions in April 2012.
Andy Nudds will be joined by 8 further tour stop winners from the remaining Nike Chosen Series events taking place throughout Europe this winter.
