Practice day at the Nike 6.0 BCN BMX PRO, the sun is shining and the session is hectic. Riders dropping in from all around the world have put their jet lag aside to feel their way around the course designed by Nate Wessel and built with the firm guiding hand of Achim.Stand outs in practice were Gary Young who was expertly quoted as riding like a “bee in a jam jar”, nice. Alex Coleborn was getting super tech on himself, how does double bars to foot jam and whip foot jam footjam whip out sound - yowza!! Mad Dog only 15 and already riding like a man. And to close the session, Daniel Dhers looking like he’s got a few Venezuelan fire cracker ready to pop, pop, pop.
Qualifiers are looking good for Saturday, and with a bit of space and the rider list as it is, looks like we’re in for a bit of sweet Mediterranean magic.
