For my entire 21 years, I’ve always lived on a peninsula. On one side, I have the bay, and on the other, the ocean. You might think that means I grew up surfing and sailing on a daily basis, but sadly, I must admit, I grew up more consumed with sports on land, and as such, never really considered giving water sports a try.
