Hello, swimsuit season!
No, I’m not just talking about that time of the year when weather encourages us to don bikinis and play in the sun; I mean the summer months that allow me lap swimming at the local pool. When I was younger, I enjoyed swim lessons every morning, while throughout high school, laps continued to keep me in shape for swim team. These days, the back-and-forth is just a fun way to add variety to my workouts, not to mention an opportunity to hang out with my grandmother who, at the age of 83, still swims every summer morning.
