Nike FOUND recently paid a visit to Austin, Texas to see how women in the stylish southern city rock their Nike sportswear. While it’s known for its bustling nightlife, Austin also has a gorgeous landscape that lends itself to an active outdoor lifestyle. We spotted Texas natives Erin and Jordan putting their Nike activewear to use in two different areas of the city: Erin with kayak in tow near the Colorado River, and Jordan jogging a trail along the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Both women’s outfits were ideal for their activities, and embodied Austin’s cool and casual fashion sense.

Jordan sported the Nike Victory Shape Sports Bra, which features a compression fit and molded cups that make it perfect for high-impact sports like running. Meanwhile, Erin opted for the Nike Pro Victory Compression Sports Bra, a medium-impact bra with a streamlined design that should be a staple in every female athlete’s wardrobe.

Erin’s Nike Chambray Vapor Jacket is one of our favorite new items from the Nike Spring ’12 Collection. The comfortable and classic training piece is made of water-resistant fabric that will guard against spring showers, or in Erin’s case, the occasional splash while paddling a kayak. Elastic cuffs and a bungee-chord waistband give it a snug and secure fit, which will also help to protect Erin from the elements this season.

Jordan has a passion for fashion and loves to stay up on the trends—even when she’s jogging in the woods! Her Nike Printed Tempo Track Running Shorts take the original runner’s favorites and add a stylish twist. The bold, tie-dye print of her shorts contrasted perfectly with her letter-print top, and the turquoise coloring of her sports bra made the whole look pop. While comfort is key when you’re training, Jordan appreciates products like the Nike Tempo Track Shorts that function at a high level without sacrificing style.
