The American league opens its 2010 season today under more pressure than anytime in recent history.
Beyond making a good first impression on coaches and fans, some of the league's best players are faced with last chance impressions.
30-man preliminary rosters for South Africa are due May 11, and America's best domestic players have barely more than a month to stake their claim.
