All The Difference

With an injury-riddled back line trying to hold the tide in front of him, Tim Howard has seen his fair share of shots this season in England. A robot could do no better with the firestorm that the USMNT's starting goal keeper sees on a routine basis.

That is especially true when Howard becomes the shot-stopping machine he was last night.

Posting no less than nine saves to preserve a 1-0 shutout, Howard single-handedly put his team into the next round of the continental competition. What more can you ask for? What more could he give?

For the Toffees, Howard made all the difference on Wednesday night.
