Are you already excited about the 2009 Nike+ Human Race 10K? Do you love connecting with other runners within the Nike+ community? Are you interested in being a featured contributor on the new NikeRunning.com?

If your answers are yes, yes and yes, then we WANT you!

Here’s the scoop. Human Race Ambassadors will act as field reporters, recruiters and motivators leading up to the Human Race on 10.24.2009. We will provide you with a visit to Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon on August 12-13, 2009, plus a Human Race Kit to get you started including an HD flip-cam, the new LunarGlide+ running shoes, a Nike+ SportBand and more. Along the way, we will also provide you with the opportunity to earn a number of additional goodies such as the new iPhone 3GS, a year’s supply of running shoes, meet and greets with select Nike athletes and more.

In order to choose the Ambassadors, we need the following from you:

1. Commitment, enthusiasm and energy to be a Human Race Ambassador from mid-August to early November.

2. Your age, sex, current city of residence and your Nike+ username.

3. A photo of you (or a few if you can’t pick your favorite!).

4. Your MySpace, Facebook and/or Twitter url’s…the more you can supply us with the better! (Note: Your profiles must be “open” so we can see it.)

5. If you have any, please provide links to video that you have of yourself.

6. A short statement (max 500 words) about why you are running the Nike+ Human Race 10K and what kind of runner you consider yourself.

Are you up for the job? Email the above content to nikeelite@nike.com by Sunday, August 2, 2009 (11:59PM HST) and you’ll be in the running to be a Human Race Ambassador.
