Dynamic Support: No Compromise Needed

Every runner is unique--that much is clear. But after decades of commiserating with our fellow runners, we've learned that there are a few universal constants: all runners want great comfort and fit, long-lasting cushioning, a smooth ride and an appropriate level of support. But that last point is tricky because we each have such distinct needs when it comes to support. In fact, the level of support a runner requires can change over the course of a run and, in many cases, runners have differing support needs from one foot to the other.
Conventional approaches to support fail to address this variability. Instead, they're black-or-white solutions that either provide no added support under the arch or one, fixed level of support that doesn't change as your needs change. Recognizing the inadequacy of this static approach, we've engineered an entirely new platform called Dynamic Support and we're introducing it in the Nike LunarGlide+.
Dynamic Support enables the Nike LunarGlide+ to provide a level of support appropriate for an extraordinarily wide range of runners, from underpronators all the way through moderate overpronators. Furthermore, the system instantaneously adapts to each and every foot strike, so if you need more support near the end of a long run, you'll get it. It also adapts to the needs of each foot individually, so you'll no longer be forced to compromise the support you need or the cushioning you crave.
In terms of cushioning, the Nike LunarGlide+ is built on the latest implementation of our LunarLite cushioning system for incredibly soft, yet responsive impact protection that holds up for the long haul. What’s more, supple, microfiber synthetic overlays are applied only where absolutely necessary and ultrasonically welded in place to eliminate even the possibility of stitch irritation against the foot. Plus, the midsole incorporates our gender-specific Nike Natural Motion Engineering principles for an exceptionally smooth ride. Great comfort and fit, plush cushioning, a smooth ride and Dynamic Support that adapts to each individual runner, each individual run and each individual foot.
