Athletes now have another way to connect with Nike+: The Apple iPhone 3GS.
Recently launched and now available for purchase, the iPhone 3GS, along with the iPod Touch, includes built-in Nike+ iPod support to help you monitor your workout.
How does it work? Just place your Nike+ sensor in a Nike+ ready shoe (such as the soon-to-be launched LunarGlide+, pictured here), and you¹ll connect with iPhone 3GS to track distance, calories, pace and time during a run or sync with gym equipment. Since the Nike+ functionality is built into the phone, you no longer need a receiver.
So, take your pick from the four ways to run with Nike+: the iPod Nano, Nike+ Sportband, iPod Touch, and now the iPhone 3GS.
Not a part of the Nike+ community yet? There are currently almost 2 million Nike+ members, and as of January 2009, Nike+ members have logged more than 100 million miles, the equivalent of 200 trips to the moon.

It saves it on my 3gs and then uploads to this
sight. It'd be awesome to keep track of all of my
runs on the iPhone. A full app tracking my
exercising with your data would be brilliant. I'll
write it if you want!

to keep incoming calls from interrupting you while
you run?

while now and have not had the problems I had
with my nano. The only thing is I set my Nike+ to
calibrate and it did not count my run. Won't do
that again. I also found with my nano if I did not
position my sensor in my shoe correctly it would
turn off and the nano would lose signal. Just
sayin'. Also I like to say all you folks out there on
the Nike train are the best travel mates!!

Nike+ sensor. Runkeeper gave me a map of my
runs, but I can not find that on the Nike+ site. Am
I missing something, or does Nike NOT offer this
feature? I can not believe that the free
Runkeeper app does MORE than the Nike+ app.

only thing missing is that the iphone syncs with
the web page, but the web page doesn't sync
with the iphone. It would be great to send
custom workout goals to the iphone.. or am I
missing something?

with my iTouch. Bought a new sensor, problem
solve! Another thing that I've tried and worked is
disable the Nike+ app, reseting the iTouch and
enable it again.

when running on the treadmill it loses the
connection several times during my run. Again it
works perfectly with my nano also.
