Hours after the Prospect Park race, even more NYC Nike+ Human Race runners stormed Central Park from NY Running Company East and NY Running Company West— amidst inclement afternoon weather—to participate in The Day the World Runs.

Human mile markers served as energy points to lead runners through the 10K course, with all returning to their East/West starting points to get a taste of NYC with black & white cookies and cheesecake bites. Smoothies and the ultimate PowerSong playlist rounded out the festivities, as runners relaxed and celebrated The 2009 Nike+ Human Race 10K.
