O-H-I-O!

Buckeye Nation showed up en masse Friday night for the Nike+ Human Race! Over 3,500 runners participated in the running event staged on the Ohio State University campus.

The night started off with a parade and pep rally to celebrate Homecoming weekend. Once the floats and marching band navigated the streets, it was time for the runners to do their thing. The downpour at the start didn't deter the student's enthusiasm as OSU President Dr. Gee started the race off with a little O-H-I-O cheer, followed by Brutus leading the massive pack of runners through the streets. The route was run in and around the Ohio State campus, passing by one of the most iconic stadiums in the country, the Horseshoe.

The party didn't stop at the finish line as all runners took to the South Oval for some more fun. The post-race dance party lit up with glow sticks, beach balls and DJ Z-Trip spinning for all as thousands of students all wearing their Human Race shirts danced the night away.

The race also raised $25,000 for "Students First, Students Now."

Now only one question remains: who will win between the Trojans and Buckeyes? The Ohio State vs. USC Nike+ Challenge ends 10.24.09 at midnight, so Buckeyes, go log your miles on nikeplus.com to get your revenge on the Trojans.

Go Bucks!!!
