Are you ready? You should be. You’ve put in the miles through summer heat and in the rain. Now it’s time to show the world how quick a New York Minute can be when you hit Prospect Park on 10.24.09 for the Nike+ Human Race 10K – The Day The World Runs.

PACKET PICK-UP
Pre-race packet pick-up will continue in the Atrium at NIKETOWN NY from 11AM-7PM on Friday 10.23. NIKETOWN NY is located at on 57th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue. We strongly encourage you to pick up your packet before race day to avoid delays.

Race-day packet pick-up will be located near the Start at Park Circle (the Southwestern tip of Prospect Park) beginning at 6:30 AM. Packet pick-up will close promptly at 7:30 AM-no exceptions.

The race will start at 8AM sharp.

SUBWAY CHANGES
Please note the following subway changes on 10.24:

No F trains between Jay St and Church Ave.

No G trains between Bergen St and Church Ave.

MTA will provide free shuttle buses as alternate service. Please be sure to take the LOCAL bus from either Jay St/Borough Hall or from Church Ave. The bus from Jay St/Borough Hall will stop on Prospect Park SW at Greenwood Ave. The bus from Church Ave will stop on Prospect Ave at Greenwood Ave.

The following subway trains are running on the normal weekend schedule: Q, 2, 3 & 4.

THE START
The start and the finish are NOT in the same location. The start is located 120 yards east of the entrance to Prospect Park and Park Circle. The finish is in The Nethermead.

BAG CHECK
Bag check is located at the start. All bags will then be transported to the finish area. At the start there will be 10 numbered buses (0-9), the bus you check your bag on is the same as the LAST number on your race day shirt.

For example, if you are shirt number 012658, you would check your bag in bus number 8. At packet pick-up, you will get a wristband bag tag. Please write your full shirt number on this tag and place it on the bag you are checking the day of the race. Seats will be numbered for your reference. To retrieve a bag at the Finish your shirt number must match the bag number. Please leave your valuables at home. The Nike+ Human Race 10K is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

All bag check buses will leave the start at 7:45 AM sharp; no late bags will be accepted.
