It's almost race day! Here's EVERYTHING you need to know.

Packet Pickup
You can pick up your official Nike+ Human Race Dri-FIT race tee at the USC Lyon University Center during the following hours:

You must have your photo ID and E-ticket confirmation e-mail. If someone else is picking up your race tee they will need to bring your E-Ticket confirmation and a copy of your driver’s license.

Your Nike+ Human Race Dri-FIT race tee will serve as your race number. The race tee is your official entry to the course so you MUST wear it on race day.

•Trial Nike+ footwear and the new Nike+ SportBands
•Get your running stride analyzed for FREE
•Have a chance to win cool Nike prizes!

Race Details
Race registration cost is $25. This provides you entry to the race, entry to The Ultimate Nike+ Tailgate Celebration prior to the USC/Oregon State football game, a live concert experience and the official Nike+ Human Race Dri-FIT race tee.

Nike will donate $5 of each race entry to A Better LA, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit founded by Coach Pete Carroll. The organization supports Los Angeles communities in their goal to reduce gang violence, in part through sports programming. For more info visit www.abetterla.org.

Nike+ Human Race: Los Angeles
Los Angeles Coliseum

The race will start and finish at the LA Coliseum in front of the historic torch. All runners must be at the start line no later than 11:00 PM on Friday night, October 23. Race will start promptly at 12:01AM. There is a 5K and 10K option. Click here for course map.

The Ultimate Nike+ Tail Gate Celebration will be held back at the LA Coliseum on the lawn in front of the historic torch, on Saturday, October 24 before the USC vs. OSU game from 12:00PM–5:00PM.

This is a fun run! There will be clocks placed at the start and finish lines, but we will not have timing chips for this run. If you run with Nike+, you’ll not only get your final race time, but you’ll also be able to track your distance, time, pace and calories burned in real time during the race. Nike+ will also allow you to see a detailed graph of your race and all your stats after you’re done.

Nike+ is a device that measures your distance, pace, time and calories burned. See or hear your stats in real time with Nike+ SportBand or iPod, then log on to nikerunning.com after you’re done to track your runs, view your progress, set goals and challenge your friends.

Important Reminders
-You MUST wear your official Nike+ Human Race Dri-FIT race tee, this is your official entry to the race.
-Be sure to bring a jacket as it may get chilly. However, please note that there will not be bag check provided at this race.
-For the tailgate, please bring your valid picture ID with your DOB.
-Beer will be served at the Tailgate and everyone will be ID’ed with a bracelet in order to be served.
-Race Evening Only - FREE bike valet will be available for race participants. Vehicle parking is limited. Parking is $10 for race night only.
-Tailgate parking is limited due to the USC vs. OSU game and USC Parent’s Weekend. Parking lots around USC will charge $60 to $120 per vehicle.

Race Tee
You must wear your official Nike+ Human Race Dri-FIT Race Tee to participate in the race. Any runner without the race tee will be escorted off the course.

Course Safety
For the safety of all participants, skates, strollers or animals, except trained service animals, are not permitted, as per the rules and regulations established by the USA Track & Field. Due to the large number of entrants, all runners should line up at the start according to anticipated pace.

Aid Stations
There will be two aid stations along the course and at the finish line providing water. Portable toilets will be available near the Start and Finish Lines as well as near all aid stations.

Finish Food and Water
As you cross the finish line, there will be beverages and light snacks from our sponsors.

Transportation
Nike and LA Coliseum encourage you to be green! Please bike or take public transportation to the event. Please visit www.metro.net for more information. We will have FREE Bike valet for race night only.

Race Parking
Parking will be available in the LA Coliseum parking facility for $10.00 per vehicle. Plan on arriving early to avoid long delays entering the parking facility. The parking lots will open at 7:00pm.

Tailgate Parking
Tailgate parking is limited due to the USC vs. OSU game and USC Parent’s Weekend. General Parking at Expo Park on game day is $25. Parking on USC Campus on game day is $20-$25 depending on the lot. For more information, click here.

Driving Directions
110 (Harbor Freeway) North
Exit the 110 at Vernon, turn left, proceed westbound to Hoover, turn right and proceed northbound, cross Martin Luther King Blvd. and go and look for the parking signs.

110 (Harbor Freeway) South
Exit at Martin Luther King Blvd. turn right, cross Figueroa St. proceed to Hoover Blvd and turn right to enter the parking lot.

10 (Santa Monica Freeway) East
Exit at Normandie Blvd. turn right onto Normandie Blvd, proceed to Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left, proceed to Hoover Blvd., and turn left to enter the parking lots.
