Track 1 - The Jittery Jolt: Coffee = Essential Morning Staple
Part mental /part physical and absolutely essential. After several trials of coffee + run and no coffee + run, I've come to the conclusion that I am at optimal performance with caffeine.

Track 2 - The Roads are Always Open
We traveled to Ontario, CA and Primm, NV over Labor Day. Compared to my beloved Northern California, the running routes were nonexistent. But, that did not stop me. This is the beauty of running. In basketball they say, "nothin' but net." In running we say, "nothin' but roads." The roads are always open.

Track 3 - Circle of Runners
Running with my Nike Running Group is much more fun than being on a treadmill. Running with a group that has your same goals in mind is encouraging and inspiring. It's much nicer at mile 9 to have your group with you, pushing you to finish.

Track 4 - Motivation
You must find the things and people that motivate you. I've determined mine:
-Nike+ Shorts - Funny that they give me motivation, but they do! They hold my iPod Nano, which holds my PowerSong. They are ultra-comfortable and on the back they say, "Just Do It."
-Nike+ SportBand - I am literally addicted. Each time I run I try to beat my previous run.
-Pied Pipers - Yes, ALL OF YOU! As a team, we have grown immensely. We stick by each other. We have stayed true to our passion.

Track 5 - A Bum Tum(my) is No Fun
Due to my food allergies, I need to be extra careful during training. I made mistakes over Labor Day weekend and paid the price. Running was painful, and I was much slower than usual. It was a great lesson. I must remember to not stray - to eat with running in mind. Most people run so they can eat that piece of cake. I do the opposite and eat ONLY what I'm supposed to eat SO THAT I can run and keep up!

Bonus Track - NEVER, EVER Give Up
Things will go right. And then they will go wrong. But at the end of the day, another mile run with passion will be under your belt. And tomorrow will be waiting for you to hit "Play" again.
