Nike has rolled out a series of running clinics, headed by veteran running coach Rio dela Cruz, in universities and key running areas around the metro for both beginner and seasoned runners. Coach Rio will teach participants the proper way of running, monitor their progress, and give expert advice to avoid injuries and help runners maximize their potential in time for the October 24, 2009 Nike+ Human Race 10K.
The Nike Running Training Clinics in schools will run from October 7 to 16 in the following schools: UP, San Beda, Adamson, JRU, UST, and FEU.
October 9: Adamson University, Quadrangle in front of Varsity Gym, 8:30am to 5:30 pm
October 13: San Beda College, Main Quadrangle near the Grand Stand, 7am to 4pm
October 14: Airspeed Running Group, GGB Building Pascor Drive Paranaque City, 4pm to 6pm
October 15: Jose Rizal University, Main Stage , Quadrangle, 9am to 5pm
October 16: University of the Philippines, A.S Parking Lot, 7am to 6pm
October 17: University of Santo Tomas, in front of UST Main Building near the Football Field, 6am to 3pm
Those who will not be able to attend these can still join the ongoing Nike Running Training Clinics scheduled every Tuesday and Friday at the Nike Park, Bonifacio High Street at 7pm.
Until further notice, Running clinics will be held at Bonifacio High Street every Tuesday.
