Where will it be held?
The Nike+ Human Race will be held anywhere a registered Nike+ runner chooses to hit the pavement. More than 30 cities will have organized physical races, but the Nike+ Human Race is truly open to everyone, everywhere. If you don’t live in a race city, just sign up at nikeplus.com to participate. Simply use Nike + iPod nano sport kit, iPod touch™, iPhone™ or Nike+ SportBand to track your miles on race day and then sync your miles on nikeplus.com to have your results officially counted as part of the race. When do I sign up?
You can officially sign up for the Nike+ Human Race on and after August 4th, 2009.
Do I have to run the entire 10K?
Nikeplus.com runners that log less than 10K will be counted as participants but to be considered a finisher you must sync a workout of at least 10K.
Is there a registration deadline?
Specific races in many of the participating cities may cap registration based on race course capacity for the physical race, but there is no registration deadline.
Do I have to wear the shirt?
Your shirt is your race bib number so wearing it on race day is required.
Are there going to be training runs in my city?
Many cities will be setting up training runs. Check nikeplus.com after August 4th, 2009 to see when and where training runs will take place in your area.
How much does the race cost?

The Nike+ SportBand is a perfect tool to help you train and track your progress so you’re ready to run on race day. The Nike+ SportBand is a device that records your workout information while you run. The Nike+ SportBand comes with a sensor that fits in a pocket underneath the sockliner of your left Nike+ running shoe. As you are running, the sensor wirelessly transmits foot motion data to the Nike+ SportBand USB link. You are able to view this data (distance, pace, time and calories burned) during your run. What is unique about the Nike LunarGlide+?
The Nike LunarGlide+ is the first running shoe to deliver both top-tier cushioning and as-needed support with the new Dynamic Support system.
What is Dynamic Support?
The Dynamic Support system in the Nike LunarGlide+ midsole is comprised of a lightweight LunarLite foam core that sits within a firmer foam carriage. The LunarLite foam core is cut to fit into the carriage at an angle creating a deeper cushioned lateral side. The medial side of the Nike LunarGlide+ midsole features a rear-foot wedge that has been contoured into the firmer foam carriage which provides stability on an as-needed basis.
