The Nike+ Human Race is not only about the world coming together to run on
October 24th, but it’s also a great opportunity for the running community,
including Nike, to give back. Come race day, Nike will donate 25% of the registration fee from every physical Human Race registration to the LIVESTRONG foundation.
Like Lance Armstrong, You can make a difference.

After being diagnosed with cancer and given a less then 50% chance of survival, Lance beat cancer and went on to win an unprecedented seven consecutive Tour de France victories. Lance describes the motivation behind his incredible journey to the top of the cycling world.

“Cycling wasn’t just about how many jerseys I won,
it was about telling my doctors, my skeptics and myself,
Yes I Can, when I was told, No You Can’t.
It was about sharing my personal victories with the world and giving those
with cancer, another reason to hope.”

In that time, Lance has become a leader in the fight against cancer. His chosen motto: LIVESTRONG, has become a rallying cry for millions.
Started in 1997, this non-profit organization has grown to support over 28 million people around the world with the resources they need to fight cancer head on.

Since 2004, Nike has helped LIVESTRONG raise over $80,000,000 to fight cancer and we’re proud to sponsor LIVESTRONG again this year as part of the Nike+ Human Race.
The same principles of determination, belief in one's self, commitment to training and well-being that exemplify the Nike+ Human Race, are also the same values that permeate LIVESTRONG.

Together, we're stronger.
With you, we're unstoppable.
Please join the Nike+ Human Race on October 24th and let’s give cancer
a run for its money.
