Athlete Tracking at the Nike Women's Marathon

A note from Eternal Timing, our timing partner:

Due to a remote network connection loss from an on-site satellite dish malfunction, the internet connection was eliminated at the race finish line on the Great Highway. Eternal Timing made the on-site decision to suspend the sending of text messages associated with Athlete Tracking and concentrate on obtaining all data required for race results. This connection loss also delayed on-site results in the Race Results tent. Please accept our apologies for this outage and inconvenience. Fortunately, we were able to receive and transmit all race results which were posted to our website on Sunday evening.

Beginning Monday, we collected information and started to process refunds to everyone who purchased the text messaging service. You will receive an e-mail confirming that you will either receive a credit to the credit card provided, or a check in the mail from Tri-California Events, Inc. before November 1st. Your credit card refund will reference NWM Tracking Refund. Thank you for your understanding. We hope that you had an incredible race experience.
