After hitting the trail, road or pavement, you'll want to record your efforts by logging your steps. Doing so is as easy as syncing your iPod nano. Plug your nano into your computer using a USB cable and iTunes will automatically open. If you're syncing workout information for the first time, a window will appear.
Click
"Send" then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your Nike+ account. Once you set up your account, a new tab appears in the iTunes window that says, "Nike+ iPod." Use this tab to adjust settings, including automatically sending workout data to Nike+ every time you sync your iPod.
Once you’ve sent your data, another window will pop up.
To see your new workout data, check your progress towards goals or view other Nike+ Active information, click the
"Visit" button.
If you have run data from Nike+ iPod as well as walking data from Nike+ Active, you'll be prompted twice to send - once for Nike+ and once for Active. The different types of data are sent to their respective sites.
