Inspiring a second half salvo from his team, Robbie capped a convincing win by earning, and coolly converting, his first goal for the club from the penalty spot.

Robinho's Return

Robinho promised he would have an impact on his return to South America, and the Brazilian showed the Premier League what it’ll be missing.

A passionate clash between two of Brazil’s biggest clubs, and with the game tied at 1-1, Robinho flicked home an impudent back-heeled winner to the delight of the away fans.

Over a grueling four days at NikeTown London, hundreds of wannabes set their sights on hitting the target and posting an unbeatable score.

In a tense five-way final, Farris Adrien was the man who performed on the day; posting a colossal 353 points to secure the win, to take the Accuracy Challenge title, and to win a Nike iD prize that money can’t buy.

Ten Years Of Deadly Accuracy - Andres Iniesta: 06.05.09

So close, so far.

The semi-finals of Europe’s elite club competition. Barcelona were 1-0 down in South West London and into the third minute of stoppage time.

When the ball broke on the left side of the pitch, Iniesta calmly took a couple of steps back. As the pass was played to him, the Spaniard edged forward and planted the ball into the top corner.

The stadium erupted. Iniesta ran to the by-line to celebrate. Guardiola sprinted half the length of the pitch in joy. And Barcelona went on to become the first club in Spanish football to complete a historic treble.

In five clinical minutes, the Portuguese raced the Los Blancos into a one goal lead with his first, before demonstrating perfect technique for his second; collect. Half turn. Fire.

Awareness Is Power

Barcelona's crest. Arsenal's cannon. Just symbols.

Symbols can be powerful. So are actions.

Grassroot Soccer held their first major event on World's AIDS day in Soweto, South Africa, just two months after touching down in the township.

Fostering education, awareness, and HIV testing, around the worldwide appeal of football, the event included 63 youth football players and counselling for more than 100 attendees.

The (NIKE)RED laces given to the children were a memento of the day but they went home with something much more valuable.

By supporting Lace Up Save Lives, projects like Grassroot Soccer are possible and give the people of Africa the real power: awareness.
