Inside the innovation: Day 2 – National Team Kits

After the excitement of the first day of the Write History launch, day two needed to pull out all the stops.

From the exclusive national team kit catwalk to the recycled technology behind the uniform design, the second day strongly continued to deliver innovation.

Comfort and lightness were at the heart of the new national team kit blueprint, with Dri-fit reducing the accumulation of sweat, and the shirts’ meshed side panels dispersing body heat.

Appearances from a host of international footballers, including Alexandre Pato, Clint Dempsey, Nani, and Ryan Nelsen, gave attendees a close up, personal view of some of the shirts that will be worn in South Africa.
