Tomorrow Landon Donovan and Tim Howard play in the Premiership's oldest Derby when the Toffees take on their cross-town rivals in red.
This will be Landon's first Derby since going abroad in January and his most intense challenge yet.
Landon will be called upon to continue the form that even has former Reds calling him, "the best signing of the January transfer window."
And with Tim Howard between the posts, the Blues of Merseyside always have a chance as he looks for his third shutout in a row.
The Reds want back into the top four and the Blues want back into Europe.
Everybody can't always get what they want.
Could the Americans' play a feature role in the 2010 edition of the longest running top flight derby? Fifty years of history is ready for a new chapter.
