Every goal changes a match.

Some goals are works of art. Some simply make a statement. Some are just scored at the perfect time.

Over the past five weeks, we've selected our favourite T-90 goals for their style, execution, and importance.

1# - Wayne Rooney quickly demonstrated that his lofty price tag was always going to be an investment, capping of a wonder-debut performance with a hat-trick at Old Trafford.

#2 - In the Italian season curtain raiser, and a match characterised by Inter's dogged determination, Figo's nerveless extra time free kick was the game's telling moment of class.

#3 The Anfield faithful craved a new striking hero and, in front of the home fans, in a heavyweight Premier League match against the Blues, Torres delivered in emphatic style.

#4 - Deep into injury time, Barcelona were going out of Europe. That was until the ball broke to Andres Iniesta and he spanked it into the top corner to send the Catalans through to the final.

#5 - Federico Macheda's sublime turn and shot snatched three vital championship-winning points for United. Some players don't have to dream about last minute winners.

Many clubs were rumoured to have been chasing the signature of Fernando Torres. But in the summer of 2007, the Madrid-born striker signed for the red half of Merseyside for a club record fee.

When he took to the field for his home debut against Essien’s Blues, all eyes on the Kop were on him.

After 15 minutes, Fernando raced onto a through ball, muscled his way past the defender and, with pinpoint accuracy, stroked the ball past one of the league’s best keepers.

Welcome to the Premier League.

Fernando Torres is the fastest player to hit 50 league goals in the Reds’ history.

The Spanish hitman fired in a dramatic late winner in the 93rd minute, to claim the win and all three points against Villa.

Fernando has reached his half-century in just 72 league games - that’s 6 faster than anyone else to play for the red half of Merseyside.

And now he’s wearing the T-90 Laser III, he can only get better. El Niño is eyeing the Premier League golden boot.
