It’s no accident the Rossoneri’s march towards the top of Serie A has coincided with the devastating form of a resurgent Ronaldinho.

The Brazilian has rekindled the audacious genius that made him a football icon, and he is intent on adding to his already stellar legacy.

Complementing another Marco Borriello strike, Ronaldinho’s lethal hattrick made it 6 goals in 3 games for the prolific midfielder, and made him the Milan club’s top scorer so far this season.

Next week is the Milan derby. The stage is set. Can Ronaldinho be the star against Inter?

As Inter strengthened its grip on the Scudetto, it was all or nothing for Juventus and the Rossoneri as the two teams went head-to-head.

Tight and tactical, this was a battle for the right to challenge Inter’s supremacy at the top. A defensive mistake left the Old Lady a goal down, the game and their title aspirations hanging in the balance.

Cue Ronaldinho and a sprinkle of Samba magic, two goals from the Brazilian magician ending the contest. The unmistakable smile says it all.

Written off for the title, decimated by injuries, and reeling from high profile summer exits, Arsenal’s faith in its wealth of young talent has been sorely tested this season.

Guided by Arsene Wenger’s devotion to playing the beautiful game, the new generation vindicated their manager’s unwavering football philosophy by stepping up when it mattered.

Carlos Vela has shown flashes of the creative genius under Eduardo’s tutelage, Jack Wilshere’s eased into his attacking pre-season form, and Alex Song’s emergence as a midfield enforcer has been instrumental in the club’s renewed assault on the Premiership.

Unbeaten in their last five games, boasting four convincing wins from four in the Premiership, and fighting on three fronts for silverware, Arsenal’s youngsters had to come of age quickly. They have.

Pep Guardiola has led his team into history. No side has ever achieved this. And no team can ever beat it.

The kit echoes the strip from the very first Old Trafford season: 1909/1910. A black chevron slices across the shirt’s red chest. The club’s red devil dances on the waistband of the white shorts. And inside, the label reads ‘The Theatre of Dreams Since 1910’. An iconic strip ready for another legendary football season.

Tradition Reborn

The 1980s. Juventus won 11 trophies in a single decade. Back then the shirt was black and white, but with narrower stripes than in recent years. This season the look returns, giving the club a striking appearance and a reignited passion for success.

On the inside of the home shirt, the label proudly shows off the Italian flag with a single lone ‘J’ woven into the centre. The away kit is just as simple: silver shirt, black and white sash, black shorts and Juventus stamped onto the calf of the white socks.

It’s all here in black-and-white. The Old Lady stands rejuvenated, ready for the launch of another glorious season.

In Rome on May 27, two football empires will collide. This season Manchester United and Barcelona won their league, both are playing for a third major trophy. And both have a rich history in Europe’s premier club competition.

Barcelona are the only team to play in every year of European competition since they started in 1955. At 11, they have the most consecutive wins in the competition. And this year they’re on for a treble of La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Europe’s greatest prize. All in Pep Guardiola’s first season as manager.

Manchester United have played in every year of European competition since 1994. In 1999 they won a treble, claiming the Premier League, FA Cup and Europe’s greatest prize. And this year they’re on to become the first team to successfully defend their European crown. All increasing the strain on Sir Alex Ferguson’s already heaving trophy cabinet.

So who will take glory in Rome?
