Forget goals. Pro Combat Player of the Week is about much more. It’s about covering every blade of grass. Sparking every attack. Winning every 50/50 ball.

All those things that don’t make the score sheet, but decide the game.

Every week, you get the choice of three players who embodied Pro Combat in their last match. Then, vote for who you think owned the game.

Week 1

The Man Utd left back defended his lines and carried a real attacking threat. When the team needed him, he was there, killing it at every opportunity.

Mesut Ozil

An absolute masterclass from Mesut in Werder’s 6-0 rout. The young German scored one and set up four more, looking every inch the next big star he’s tipped to become.

The winger simply ripped his opponents apart. He scored one and had a hand in four more in a 9-1 demolition that equalled the league’s record win.
