Dalam sebuah pertandingan yang diwarnai ketegangan dan persaingan sengit, Arsenal menunjukkan karakternya yang kuat. 
Cedera serius yang terjadi berpotensi mengalihkan fokus di lapangan. Tapi saat pertandingan berakhir, Nicklas Bendtner berhasil menyelamatkan nafas Arsenal.
