In a prolific weekend for the strikers, the Mercurials were worth more than their light weight in goals.

Back in Brazil for less than a month, Robinho has fired three goals in three games while another Brazilian, Alexandre Pato, got himself on the scoresheet along with strike partner, Marco Borriello, for the Rossoneri in Serie A.

Nicklas Bendtner scored the winner for Arsenal in the Premier League, and over in La Liga Nilmar bagged one at the Bernabeu as Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show with a master class performance and a sensational free kick opener.
