It’s official - from the 16,000 players and 2,000 teams who took part in the Nike Show Your Five tournament, FC Fodder are the best of the best. The lads from Manchester clocked up 17 wins and an impressive 53 goals on their journey to Alexandra Palace. And after beating Birmingham’s Gold Club in the Show Your 5 National Final, they return to Manchester victorious.

With so much on the line both teams knew this would be the game of their lives. Watched by a legion of football-hungry fans and stars including Joe Cole, Cesc Fabregas and Gabby Agbonlahor, the final didn’t disappoint.

The battle was so tight that penalties seemed inevitable until City Final MVP Stuart Cooke drilled home a stunning match winner at the near post. It was easy to keep an eye on him thanks to his personalised white NIKEiD boots – specifically made for the big match.
