Kobe Bryant ended his high school career at Lower Merion High School as Southeastern Pennsylvania's all-time leading scorer at 2,883 points, surpassing Wilt Chamberlain in the record books.

17-year old Kobe's next stop would not be a college campus, as he became the first high school guard ever selected in the NBA draft. Kobe's career with the Los Angeles Lakers began in 1996, when he became the then-youngest player to play in an NBA game.
