Houston Rockets

Aaron Brooks

Season stats: 18.6 PPG, 5.1 APG, 39.2% 3PT FG

That Houston is five games over .500 is a minor miracle. That they’re firmly entrenched in one of the deepest playoff races either conference has ever seen without the two stars that usually dominate their headlines is a testament to a collection of players making the most of their minutes. And thanks to speed seemingly handed down from the Olympic Sprinting Gods, Brooks is their rabbit. Leading the team in points, assists and three-point shooting percentage, Brooks nearly resides in the Top-25 league-wide as well. Season highlights include 17 20-point games, punctuated by a 43-point explosion last week vs. Minnesota.

Indiana Pacers

Danny Granger

Season stats: 24.1 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 36.9% 3PT FG

Danny is backing up his 2009 All-Star campaign with more threes made, more offensive, defensive and total rebounds and more steals. He’s poured in 17 20-point efforts - and 6 30-point outings - in just 23 games. Had Danny played in enough games to qualify, his points and steals totals would rank in the Top-10 and Top-20, respectively.
