The first Men's Division I Basketball Tournament was held in 1939. That first Final Four included Oregon, Villanova, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. The Buckeyes traveled to Evanston, Illinois to take on the Oregon Ducks on March 27, 1939 in the championship game, where the Ducks earned the victory - and the championship - 46-33.

71 years later, the Buckeyes can claim 9 Final Four appearances, and the 1960 national championship.

This year, the Buckeyes are 10-4 and hoping to improve on last season's 22-11 record. When they take the court to take on Indiana on Wednesday, the Buckeye players will be wearing a special version of the Zoom Soldier III.
