Transportation - Randall's Island
Subway/Bus:

From Manhattan: Take the 4, 5 or 6 train or Metro-North to 125th St., then transfer upstairs to the X80 Express Bus (NW corner of 125th St. and Lexington Ave.), which runs nonstop to Randall's Island. A $5 round-trip fare is collected en route to the Island. Monthly MetroCard is not accepted. If you transfer from the subway or bus with your Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard, only $3 is deducted. Paper Bus Transfers and dollar bills are not accepted.

From Long Island: Take the L.I.R.R. to 61st St. and Woodside, then transfer to the 7 train to Grand Central Terminal. Transfer there to the 4, 5 or 6 train or Metro-North to 125th St., then transfer upstairs to the X80 Express Bus (NW corner of 125th St. and Lexington Ave.), which runs nonstop to Randall's Island. A $5 round-trip fare is collected en route to the Island. Monthly MetroCard is not accepted. If you transfer from the subway or bus with your Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard, only $3 is deducted. From Queens: Take the 7 train to Grand Central Terminal. Bus service runs from 3pm to midnight.

Ferry:

Ferries will depart from East 34th Street & 1st Avenue by the FDR Drive/East River starting at 3:00pm and run approximately every 20-30 minutes to and from the island. The last ferry will leave Randall's Island at 10:45pm. A $5 round-trip fare is collected.

Participants MUST BUY their ferry tickets at NIKETOWN during Race Packet Pick-up Hours.

Foot Bridges:

East 103rd Street Foot Bridge to Wards Island; walk north on to Randall's Island (open from
6am - 9pm). Participants cannot leave this way if they stay for the concert.

Triborough Bridge pedestrian walkway from 125th Street over to Randall's Island (open 24 hrs.)

Bike self-parking also available.

COMPANION TICKETS AVAILABLE

Individuals registered for the Nike+ Human Race 10K can buy up to 2 companion tickets* to the post-race concert by The All-American Rejects on Randall's Island. Each ticket costs $20.
