Post-Race Activities
August is finally here which means the Nike+ Human Race 10K is only a few weeks away. After making history in the world’s largest 10K, there will be many ways to celebrate with NIKE’s post-race activities.
Concert Information:
The All-American Rejects will be performing an exclusive post-race concert on Randall’s Island. All race participants will have access to the performance. In addition, NIKE is offering ‘companion tickets’. After registering for the Nike+ Human Race 10K, click The All-American Rejects Tickets and enter code HUMANRACE in order to purchase additional tickets. Each runner is allowed to purchase 2 companion tickets (while supplies last). Each ticket costs $20.
Nike+ Area:
Interested in learning about the newest technology offered by NIKE? By visiting the Nike+ Area, you’ll have the chance to learn about the Nike+ SportBand and Nike+ Sport Kit along with the many features offered on nikeplus.com. In addition, the Nike+ Running Mobile Van will be present, allowing you to try on the newest style of sneakers and speak with sneaker experts about the differences between various models.
Interactive Area:
Since you are already in a competitive mode, why not swing by the interactive area and challenge other runners in Nintendo Wii’s Rock Band Challenge. Whether it’s playing the guitar, hitting the drums, or belting out some lyrics, join the band and choose from a variety of selections including The All-American Rejects’ song “Dirty Little Secret”. While waiting to rock out in the Rock Band Challenge, you can send a video postcard message to your family and friends, commemorating your participation in the world’s largest race.
