Important Reminders
Be sure to wear your official Nike Dri-Fit shirt at the event. If you want to see the concert, you have to wear your official shirt! Your participant number will serve as your admission ticket to see an exclusive post-race concert. Nine-time Grammy Award winning artist Kanye West along with Hip Hop artist and actor, Common, will be performing! Due to limited space only participants will be allowed beyond the finish line and in the concert area. No guests allowed. Each finisher will receive a specially designed Nike+ Human Race Finisher’s award.

There are no ATM’s located in the venue. Please bring your ID and enough cash for parking, food and beverage concessions. Also, be sure to bring a jacket as it may get chilly.

Race T-Shirt
Your Nike+ Human Race 10K T-shirt is also your bib and ticket into the LA Coliseum for the post-race concert. You must wear your race T-shirt to participate in the race. Anyone not wearing their T-shirt will be escorted off the course and not be allowed to enter LA Coliseum for the post-event concert.

Course Safety
For the safety of all participants, skates, strollers or animals are not permitted, as per the rules and regulations established by the USA Track & Field. Due to the large number of entrants, all runners should line up at the start according to anticipated pace. Because much of the run is on city streets, you must keep a pace of at least 12 minutes per mile.

Transportation
Nike and the LA Coliseum encourage you to take public transportation to the event. Please visit www.metro.net for more information. Nike also has partnered with Ridelinks to provide car-pool options for runners. Participants who car-pool using Ridelinks will receive a special Nike gift and will have access to preferred parking. Parking
Parking will be available in the LA Coliseum parking facility for $10.00 per vehicle. Plan on arriving early to avoid long delays entering the parking facility. The parking lots will open at 6:00pm.

110 (Harbor Freeway) North
Exit the 110 at Vernon, turn left, proceed westbound to Hoover, turn right and proceed northbound, cross Martin Luther King Blvd. and go and look for the parking signs.

110 (Harbor Freeway) South
Exit at Martin Luther King Blvd. turn right, cross Figueroa St. proceed to Hoover Blvd and turn right to enter the parking lot.

10 (Santa Monica Freeway) East
Exit at Normandie Blvd. turn right onto Normandie Blvd, proceed to Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left, proceed to Hoover Blvd. , turn left to enter the parking lots.

10 (Santa Monica Freeway) West
Exit at Normandi Blvd. turn left onto Normadie Blvd, proceed to Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left, proceed to Hoover Blvd. , turn left to enter the parking lots.

Timing
Your timing tag allows your official time to be recorded. You MUST attach the timing tag to your shoe before the race begins. The timing tag will transmit a signal to a computer as you cross the start, 2.5k, 5k, 7.5, and finish mats. You must return your timing tag in the Finish Line chutes after the race. If you do not return your timing tag, you will be charged a $15 fee. The tag can be mailed after the race to:

Tags must be received within 7 days or the lost tag charge invoice will be sent.

Aid Stations
There will be one aid stations along the course providing water and two aid stations providing Gatorade & water. Portable toilets will be available near the Start and Finish Lines as well as near the aid stations.

Bag Check
A bag check area will be available at the LA Coliseum/Sports Arena entrance. You must wear your official Dri-FIT shirt to be able to check your bag. Your belongings will be secure throughout the run. Nike, however, is not responsible for lost/stolen items, so please do not bring any valuables. Be sure to allow enough time to get to the Start Line. The bag check area will be open from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

Los Angeles Coliseum Concessions
Make sure to bring some cash for the Los Angeles Coliseum concessions & parking. Don’t forget your ID! Food, beer, wine and beverages will be available for purchase at the concession stands.
