Nike+ Human Race 10K LA
Race the world by signing up for the 10K Nike plus Human Race, which will take place on the 31 of August in Los Angeles. Compete against 25 cities and 1 million runners around the globe. Be a part of history. Make a difference!
The race will kick off at 8:31:08 PM at the famous LA Memorial Coliseum, which hosted the 1984 Olympics and is now home of the successful USC Trojans.You can register online for $35 dollars and will be sent a private confirmation email to your account. The proceeds will benefit one of three charities, WWF-Global Conservation Organization, the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the ninemillion.org campaign.
You have until the 8.31.08.08 to get fit for the biggest physical/virtual race in the history of running, and can pick up your Nike race packet at Nike town, in Beverly Hills on Thursday the 28th from 11am-8pm and Friday the 29th between 10am-7pm or on Saturday the 30th from 9:30am-8:30pm at Sports Chalet in Torrance. This race will bring thousands of like minded individuals together that enjoy running, music and who want to compete!
