If you're new to Chicago or just visiting for the Nike+ Human Race, here are some frequently asked questions and their answers for our out-of-towners!


Q: Where is the Chicago Nike+ Human Race 10K taking place?


A: The race will start and finish from Soldier Field in Downtown Chicago, found at 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr.


Q: How many miles is 10K?


A: 6.2 miles.

Q: When is the race?

A: The race is Sunday August 31 at 6:30 PM.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Bring your race registration confirmation number and your event shirt!

Q: How will I pick up my race packet?

A: If you arrive one week prior to the race, you can pick up your packet :

Q: What if I can't make the packet pickup days? Can my friend pick up my packet for me?

A: Yes! Simply email your friend your confirmation email, have them print it out and then bring it to one of the packet pickup events.

Q: Can you mail my race packet to me?

A: As of now, no, we cannot.

Q: Will there be race day packet pickup?

A: No, due to the bib assignments being printed on the shirts, we are unable to accommodate race day packet pickup.

Q: How do I get to Soldier Field on race day?

A: Nike and Soldier Field encourage you to take public transportation to the event. The CTA's Red, Green, Orange and Brown lines stop at Roosevelt Road and State Street. Please visit http://www.transitchicago.com/ for more information. Simply proceed East on Roosevelt Road, under the pedestrian tunnel to Soldier Field.

If you drive, parking will be available in the Soldier Field parking facility located underneath Soldier Field. For more information on parking at Solider Field, please visit http://www.soldierfieldparking.com/.

If you ride a bicycle, a secured bike valet will be available for participants to check their bicycles during the event. The Bike Valet is provided by the Chicagoland Bicycle Federal members. (CBF) http://www.biketraffic.org/ is a non-profit bicycle advocacy organization working to improve bicycling conditions in the region. Bike Valet will be available from 5:00-10:00PM.
