Use Nike+ to Participate in the Race
The Nike+ Human Race 10K on 08.31.08 plans to be the largest worldwide event in the history of running. Not only will 25 cities be hosting races all over the world— including four in the U.S. — but with Nike+, you can run wherever you are.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: You’ll need a Nike+ SportBand or Nike+ iPod and Sport Kit. This will allow you to sync your Nike+ Human Race 10K as well as track your training runs leading up to the big event.
Step 2: Sign up for the Nike+ Human Race. Visit nikeplus.com to register to be a part of history.
Step 3: Train for race day with Nike+ by keeping track of your runs with training programs created specifically for the Nike+ Human Race. Check out the Training Programs.
Step 4: The best step of all. Race and sync your 10K on 08.31.2008 to be part of the Nike+ Human Race.
This 10K promises to be one for the ages! It also happens to benefit three great causes: The Lance Armstrong Foundation, The UN Refugee Agency, and the World Wildlife Fund.
Learn more about these causes.
Train hard. Race harder. And have a blast on 08.31.08!
