At the Nike+ training run series Tuesday night at Guero’s, we connected with local runners on what songs they’d like Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals to perform live at the finish line if the world’s largest running event, the Nike+ Human Race, in Austin. Harper has undoubtedly influenced the musical tastes of thousands of fans, and with his varied tunes, it’s no surprise that the answers we received were just as diverse.
Burn One Down: “I like it because it takes me back to when he performed at ACL,” Dave said. “It brings back good memories of hanging out in Austin during the summertime, just like I’m sure this race will.”
Steal My Kisses: “I hope Ben Harper plays this song, because it’s got a great beat and it’ll keep me pumped even after the race.”
