COOL DOWN
After completing a running event it is recommended that athletes take an easy cool down jog and stretch to help flush by-products and loosen muscles. The Human Race presents a unique opportunity to dance the by-products out of your system at the post race concert featuring boys like girls. How fun!
EAT AND DRINK
It is recommended you eat within 30 minutes of finishing your event to replace carbohydrate burned during your race. It is also essential to rehydrate so drink up.
MASSAGE
Massage is a brilliant way to speed recovery and help relieve the common muscle aches associated with running. If you can get one at the race venue that is brilliant otherwise go and see your local massage therapist within 48 hours.
