Sign up for the Nike+ Virtual Race!
Besides running the race physically in any of the 25 cities, participants can choose to take part in the virtual race. This means you can run anywhere, track your run with a Nike+ Sport Kit or Nike+ Sport Band, then sync your run to our website. Simultaneously, you can contribute to the global mileage on the 31st August 2008.
In addition, even if you have signed up for the physical race on 31.8.2008, you could also sign up as a virtual runner and clock the distance prior to race day. Vote With Your Feet (VWYF) allows all virtual runners to log their miles from the day they register themselves on the website. Once the participant signs up for the virtual race, he can choose one of the three global charities to donate to. The cumulative miles run for the individual charities will result in what the allocation of Nike's contribution will be amongst the three charities after 2nd September 2008.
No entry fees are required to join the virtual run. Only a Nike+ site registration is required.
To track your miles, you will need a Nike+ Sport Kit or SportBand.

The first 2000 Nike+ Human Race 10K Virtual Finishers to sign up and complete their 10k on 31.8.08 and log their 10km on to www.nikeplus.com.sg by 2359 2nd September will each receive a Finisher's Bracelet.
Virtual runners have the option to buy a Nike+ Human Race tee (material: sphere dri-fit, based on US sizing) at S$35 (*7% GST applies) on race pack collection day. * while stocks last!
