An American rock band from Andover, Massachusetts, Boys Like Girls was formed in the final months of 2005. The group includes Martin Johnson (guitarist/vocals), Bryan Donahue (bassist/vocals), John Keefe ( drummer/percussion) and Paul DiGiovanni ( lead guitarist/vocals).

BLG released their first album Boys Like Girls on 22nd August 2006, and by April 2007, the album sold over 200,000 copies within the United States. Their first single "The Great Escape" was a big hit once it was released! In comparison with a majority o their peers, BLG has a more radio-friendly pop rock sound, hence labeled "an album full of hit singles".

"I like to listen to music that makes me feel a certain way--either it reminds me of something important that happened or a certain time in my life," says Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson. "If kids are feeling that way about our songs, I couldn't ask for anything more."

To an active listener the album plays out with the ups and downs of a new relationship, charting the story of youth, love, adventure - and the loss and heartbreak that is sometimes a byproduct of putting yourself on the line.

Boys Like Girls will continue to give their everything.
