ChouPiJiang (CPJ) derived its name from a Chinese proverb, symbolizing the strength of a unity. ChouPiJiang is the first Chinese rap rock hip hop band in Singapore and was officially formed by 6 core members in year 2000 by Bernard and Chee Wey on vocals, Amos and Les on Guitars, Aloysius on bass, Melvin on drums, and featuring DJ Rough.

They are involved in every facet of creative and musical process; they write, arrange, produce and even direct their very own music video that takes the Chinese speaking world by storm.
